  • @verno: What do you suppose Obama has to gain from higher gas prices? I don't see a rational argument, there. If gas prices rise, particularly diesel, everything becomes more expensive - food, clothing, materials, etc.: everything has to be moved, and that generally requires gas.

  • @STexan: You hit the nail on the head, there - but to carry that point a step further, ask yourself: Who stands to benefit from a faltering US economy? Who are the ONLY people that could see any gains from such a scenario?

  • I blame the Koch Brothers, (and their billionaire buddies in the good 'ole boy traders' market)...and believe it's been them, pulling the strings, all along. Presidents don't have that kind of power; people that buy Presidents, do.

  • It's okay - we're used to it. For the life of me, I can't figure out how he keeps getting re-elected. Maybe after the wildfire fiasco when he was crying for federal government intervention, people will realize he's completely full of it, and punish him for it next election.
